1 INVITATION VIA MAIL
The most common is that you receive the invitation link in an email, but it can also be found in other ways, e.g. on a web page. See the picture of what it might look like in an email.
Click "Join Microsoft Teams Meeting" to join the meeting.
You can connect before the meeting to check that it is possible to connect, but do not expect anyone else to be there then. Its like walking into an empty room before the meeting starts.

- From the Teams app, calendar view
- Outlook calendar
2 TEAMS APPS IS INSTALLED
If you already have the Teams app - then it is normal for it to start automatically when you connect. If not, install it from here.
If you have it installed, but it do not start, then click at the link at the bottom:
" Try to open it again"
3 INSTALL THE TEAMS APP
If you do not have the Teams app, then click on the top option when the image is displayed as the example:
" Download the Windows app "
4 INSTALL AND RUN
Installing the Teams app on Windows.
Click RUN to install and connect to the meeting.
You can have the Teams app installed even if you do not have a Teams subscription.
5 ENTER YOUR NAME
Write your name to let other people in the meeting to know who is there. If you have a Teams subscription yuor name usually is already there.
Click Connect Now to join the meeting.
6 SAFETY WARNING
The first time the Teams app runs, you may need to approve the Teams app to use your computer for audio, video, and screen sharing.
If you have Windows 10 with the built-in Anti-virus protection, then the Windows firewall is also used and then it looks like this.
Approve Teams to be used on both Private and Public networks. In case you do not know where your computer is the next time you attend a Teams meeting.
7 WAITING IN THE LOBBY
In many cases, someone has to approve that you are allowed to join, so just sit and wait until someone lets you in.
8 MEETING CONTROLS
To show the Meeting controls menu, move the mouse over the background to display them

Large video conferencing supports viewing videos from many at once. The feature is new from the beginning of August 2020, and you have to turn it on to get that experience, later it will be default, including the controls on the top instead of floating.
When the Teams app is running, it appears in the taskbar.
